THE TRUTH CONCERNING THE BREAKUP OF DEELISHIS & FLAVOR FLAV

Here you have it...

London "Deelishis" Charles spills the beans.

STRAIGHT UP, NO CHASHER!!!

Yesterday Deelishis sent this letter to ILLEST along with many other MySpacers...

Well I do believe it is time to answer THEE question. I did not want to expose our situation completely, as I assumed the truth would come to light in its own time. I thought it'd be the best thing for him. But seeing how he so blatently disregarded the truth in order to legitimize his way into your homes for a third season, I must be real with you and speak up for the truth and myself! No I did not leave Flav to sell blue jeans, I didn't leave Flav at all. Honestly William Drayden and I were never really a couple, for the day I won, inevitably was the day I loss. Fearing that the show was all a stage to entertain, I often ask Flav, "Is this real or are you just having fun" He was always calm and with a sincere and straight face replied, "Yes this is real, and I do wanna have you in my life". Now many of you may say I was being naive to believe in a reality love affair, but at the time it felt right. This was Flavor Flav from Public Enemy, he is an older man and knows better than to play games. I thought life is short, take a chance and enjoy your opportunity to love. But love is not what Flav wanted, at least not when it came time to renew his reality show contract. He had a choice, sign up for a new season or stick it out with Dee. But he didn't think twice. After I won the show and the reunion was taped, Flav distanced himself from me. He changed his number and was advised to cut all ties, or he would ruin the possibilities of a third season. In the meantime, I wanted more than to be known as Flavs girlfriend with the Big Butt. I have gifts that are beyond what you see on the outside. I wanted more for myself and my child. I appreciate the appreciation of my physique, and all of the opportunities to grace these wonderful sexy men magazines, but then what?!!! I had been tailoring and altering my own personal clothes since forever due to my bodytype, so when the opportunity arose to design, style and tailor jeans for women abroad, I put my best foot forward and handled my BUSINESS, ALONE! I did it without Flav not because I left him, I did it without Flav because he WAS NOT THERE!!! How can you leave someone who was never there? I am a single mom, who has the right to take care of businss by all means necessary! And as women, we now know that we don't have to wait on no MAN to handle our business! I did not compromise my character nor his, nor our relationship by starting my own entrepreneurship. A real man would have been right there by my side the entire time. So I started my own business, but how does that add up to leaving him? It doesnt. He lied! But its all good...his loss. A man who walks away without care or concern was never true to begin with. And yes I do have someone new in my life right now. However loving who I'm with now, doesn't mean I never loved Flav, it means God decided I was good enough to truly be loved by someone even after Flav and all the bullsh I had encountered. Someone who loves me unconditionally, with or without a camera or some TV show. Someone who won't leave me for a check and a chance at ratings. And no dissrespect to Flav. Obviously he had to do what he thought was best for him, and at the same time, so did I. He says we were a bad batch of women, and that this time around he doesnt want a girl who's gonna be famous off of him, well here's a suggestion Flav...don't date on national television, cause everyone on that show is going to inherit some kind of fame. So there it is, the truth. I hope I've answered your questions and concerns. Oh and as for the new love in my life, yes its real, its honest and its healthy...and before any of the hating begins (yall know the haters cannot wait to try and tear this union to shreds) no he don't beat me! no I didn't mess with him while I was with Flav! And hell to the naw, he aint got a GAY bone in his body, so please don't start with the dumb shit lol. and no we are NOT engaged...yet. Now that we've got them rumors out the way, like my homie Katt Williams say, "We gone keep it pushin round here lol"

I love you all with Gods love, be blessed and lets keep it real always,
Deelishis
PS Hit me up, lets chat!!!

MIKE JONES Interview: "The American Dream"

PRIMO: Hey Mike, How are you?
MIKE JONES: I’m alright.

PRIMO: We actually have something in common. I’m Primo by the way, I write for ILLEST Magazine. Our Birthday’s on Jan. 5th.
MIKE JONES: Uh, Oh… Going Down.

PRIMO: Alright now. How is ur sophomore album experience feelin now?
MIKE JONES: Uh, The sophomore experience is great. I mean alotta people showin me alotta love. I mean for me to take the time away to make a movie, you know you expect for alotta people to just forget about you. But my fans, they held it down for me.

PRIMO: Now with the game that’s far too strong, who’s signed to ICE AGE?
MIKE JONES: Right now we got King Melo. That’s the 1st artist comin from ICE AGE. And we got Lil Soldier comin after that. We talking wit Lil Moe right now so I mean we finna put together a roster right now.

PRIMO: I read you got your brother on the roster.
MIKE JONES: Yeah Lil Soldier.

PRIMO: Ok.
MIKE JONES: Yeah, Yeah…

PRIMO: When are you putting them out?
MIKE JONES: After “American Dream” drop we workin on King Melo’s and after King Melo we workin on Lil Soldier.

PRIMO: Where did the Mike Jones “American Dream” concept come from?
MIKE JONES: I mean I always wanted to live “the American Dream” even when I was struggling and you know… And since I went from “Nothin to Somthin”, I try to show my fans that I’m livin it & I use my DREAM to help other people be able to live they dream. That’s why I put together and that’s why I’m givin it out for free. Cause if people watch it they can get motivated & inspired by it. To want to get up, grind and live their own dream.

PRIMO: I went on your site today. And your fan site is immaculate.
MIKE JONES: I appreciate it.

PRIMO: Your crowd definitely loves you. With the Motion Picture… Who is on set, “Mike Jones” or “Mr. Jones”?
MIKE JONES: Wow, Uh actually on the movie it’s “Mike Jones” cause it shows before I came up. It’s showin me comin from Mike Jones to Mr. Jones. So in the movie you don’t really see “Mr. Jones” towards the end of the movie. So I’m playin “Mike Jones” throughout the whole movie until the end.

PRIMO: Was it hard for you to adapt to being an actor verses what you do best in da booth?
MIKE JONES: Uh, Naw… I mean I wanna show people that especially a person that’s comin from “Nothin to Somethin” that you can put your mind to anythang. You can be whateva you wanna be. Actin, Rappin whateva, you know what I’m sayin.

PRIMO: What is something that the fans & everybody else doesn’t know about Mr. Jones?
MIKE JONES: That I really look out for the people. You know what I’m sayin, I’m an under dog no matter what I sell. People think just because I sold 2 times Platinum that I’m “bousy-hollywood” just like everybody else. I’m the same guy. You know what I’m sayin. I’m just a dude that’s tryin to help everybody else come up. U know what I’m sayin…

PRIMO: Is it any truth to the collabo with you & Chamillionare on the album?
MIKE JONES: Not on this album. Cause even though me & him we been squashed da beef since I came out with my 1st album & he came out wit his, the beef been squashed since 05’. But my album was already done & his was already finished so u know maybe on future projects. But this one was already put together.
PRIMO: Yeah cause its alotta hype behind that.

PRIMO: If we interviewed any of your ex-girlfriends, why would they tell other women NOT to date Mr. Jones?
MIKE JONES: Cause they afraid Imma shower whoever else I date with the finer thangs and they gone be stuck broke. (Everybody laughs)

PRIMO: Do you have any children?
MIKE JONES: Uh I got a lil boy right now, Yeah.

PRIMO: No baby moma drama we should hear about in the tabloids?
MIKE JONES: Oh naw… She outta here.
PRIMO: What’s the ILLEST shit you’ve ever done to a chick?
MIKE JONES: See that’s what’s crazy… See I’m really a cool guy you know what I’m sayin, alotta people just think I’m… Like me doin the rap stuff, this is like a job to me and I don’t get all into the rap stereotype, you know what I’m sayin…
PRIMO: That’s very hard to find in an artist.
MIKE JONES: It’s hard… Yeah so alotta people be thinkin like cause I’m a rapper if I meet a girl like “what’s up”. The girl already intimidated like “uh huh, I ain’t no hoochie, I ain’t no this”… “I ain’t say u was”. So I have to work extra hard to prove to whoever I talk to that I’m not like the average rapper, you know what I’m sayin.
PRIMO: You don’t go by the stereotype?
MIKE JONES: Yeah, Yeah…

PRIMO: That’s cool. Again, I’m Primo. I’m definitely happy to interview you.
MIKE JONES: Yeah, I appreciate dat.

PRIMO: Especially with us being born on the same day and yes I bought the album.
MIKE JONES: I appreciate that. Oh and I got songs on the album for the ladies too on the last album, you know what I’m sayin. My boy Cut Master (he points to his barber) Yeah…
MIKE JONES: I appreciate everybody that’s been holdin me down & showin me alotta love. You know what I’m sayin… I mean I’m still here. Who you know that give out their phone number and they really talk to the fans…

PRIMO: I know that your Grandmother is definitely lookin down on you Darling.
MIKE JOINES: Oh Yeah… Thank you so much, I appreciate ya’ll. 313 BABY!!!
